Doing anything for four decades is literally unfathomable to most people. That’s 14,610 days. Or 350,640 hours. Fucking bananas. So the fact that iconic Norwegian black metal band Mayhem not only lasted as long as it did, but is now announcing a North American tour celebrating 40 years as a band over all the lineup changes and whatnot, that’s simply impressive.
Set to take place across six days this November, the tour will kick off in Montreal, Quebec on November 12 and come to a close on November 23 in Denver, Colorado.
The band is describing the tour as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans,” promising the kind of setlist that goes all the way from the 1987 Deathcrush EP to 2019’s Daemon. The show will also include rare footage and photos of the band over the years.
Tickets will be available to the general public this Friday, August 30 at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sales set to start a day earlier at 1 p.m. EST. You can find the full list of dates below.
