Deftones/Sol Invicto guitarist Stephen Carpenter has stepped into the role of producer for the newly released debut album from Californian death metal duo, Titan. Carpenter met the pair while sharing a studio space in Long Beach, CA several years ago, with their friendship eventually graduating to working together.
As such, Carpenter notched up his first producer credit on the band’s impending outing, “Forced Worship“, due out June 06th through OMYAC Records. That label venture is headed up by Carpenter himself alongside his Sol Invicto bandmate Richie Londres. Matt Hyde (Deftones, Monster Magnet) was hired on to mix the opus.
You can hear that record now via Bandcamp (and below), while a wide streaming release is planned for June 06th. Titan consists of vocalist/guitarist Pat Shea and drummer Travis Weinand. A listening party for “Forced Worship” will be held via the group’s aforementioned Bandcamp on June 04th at 08:30pm MST.
