Vulgaris – New Record Announced & Detailed, First …

London-based metallers Vulgaris, featuring our fellow staff member musclassia on bass/vocals, are ready to drop their second full length effort dubbed Seat Of The Fire. Due on May 24th 2024, it was recorded, mixed and mastered by Charlie Wilson at Monolith Studios London. Cover artwork created by Leoncio Harmr.

Comments the band: ”We are proud to announce the upcoming release of our sophomore full-length album, Seat Of The Fire, which will be out on 24 May 2024. This record is three years in the making, and represents a significant musical advancement for Vulgaris compared with our debut album, Asundre; we are excited to share this new music with you all.”

The album features 9 tracks, and tells the story of the titan Prometheus walking the Earth after being released from his eternal torment, only to see that the gift that he was imprisoned for bestowing is being used by humanity to spread devastation. As revenge, he turns into an Antichrist-like figure to inspire the downfall of humanity, serving as an avatar for our own rage at the plight of modern humankind.
