Alestorm shared a video for the song “Uzebekistan” alongside the release of their new EP, Voyage of the Dead Marauder, out via Napalm Records.
The pirate metal icons are back with more swashbuckling nonsense and goofy puns, and they’ve got a lot going on right now between these releases and their upcoming time on the road.
Keyboardist and vocalist Chris Bowes shared the following:
“Oh wow! We’ve decided it is our life goal to become the biggest band in Uzbekistan, so we wrote this wee song about the place. I trust it is 100% historically accurate.”

“I am reliably informed that Canada and the USA are countries, so it only seems fitting that we play a few shows there. We’ll even play some new songs, as an inevitable consequence of releasing a new EP. We hope you enjoy it; it’ll be very awkward for all parties involved if you don’t. See you there!”
Stay tuned for reviews of the EP and more news after the band wrap up their tour.
