Revocation’s in the Studio Working on Their Next Album

0

As if 2024 didn’t have some awesome shit to look forward to, we’ve got a potential for new Revocation tunes coming down the pipe as well. Now, I don’t want to make it sound like I know anything more about this than the band and frontman Dave Davidson posted on Twitter about an hour ago, but if it comes out this year, that would be baller as fuck.

All we know right now is that they’re in the studio starting today, working on their ninth full-length album and their follow up to 2022’s banger Netherheaven. We only know this because a picture of drummer Ash Pearson throwing down behind the kit in the studio was posted on social media.

If you fuck with modern death metal, there’s no reason why Revocation isn’t already on your list of must-see, must-follow, must-worship acts out there. If you haven’t checked them out, stop fucking around and play their music loud.

That’s all I got for this post, really. Revocation’s in the studio after spending some time on the road. We don’t know anything about a possible schedule for how long it’ll take to record, nor do we know if they have a release window in mind.

All we know is that they’re in the studio and that’s great news no matter how you slice it. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go listen to The Outer Ones yet again.

It’s that time again… @AshPearson2 pic.twitter.com/IuHTVWPwvH
